Pure Wine Indulgence For the aspiring “winemaster’ or those of us who just want to know more. Learn more about your favourite wine variety, the different characteristics the vineyard can produce, and the essential steps in the winemaking process. This series of events will be hosted by Hunter Valley winemakers and wine educators in small groups, allowing an in depth understanding of the various attributes of Hunter Valley wine.
De Bortoli – “The Hands Off Approach” Learn how “ORGANIC” farming in the vineyard and “hands off approach” in the winery combine to deliver our philosophy of producing wines that are a “natural expression of the vineyard”. Upon conclusion alternative varietal wines will be offered to wash down a selection of Italian cheese, salami and pane croccante.
Mistletoe Fireside Vertical Tasting Taste the very best of Mistletoe’s range whilst enjoying a selection of tapas by the fireplace in Cellar Door (incorporating the Mistletoe Gallery).
Tulloch Wines and PLUMM Wine Glass Masterclass Tulloch Wines are proud to partner with the new glass designer PLUMM to introduce you to the range of glassware designed by the wine industry that will enhance your wine experience. The PLUMM glassware used in the tasting is yours to keep. Each person will receive two white wine glasses and two red wine glasses valued at $110. The tasting will be accompanied by a selection of local Binnorie Cheese, Pukara Olives and antipasto for you to enjoy.
Salute Sangiovese An alfresco lunch on the deck at Tintilla served with the latest releases of the 2007 vintage Saphira Sangiovese and the 2007 vintage art series Catherine d’M Sangiovese Merlot. Tintilla olives and tapenade will be on hand as well as out Sangiovese verjus.

Riedel Glass Tasting Experience Wind down after the Riedel Glass Tasting Experience with a selection of canapés matched at some of Mount Pleasant’s finest wines and perhaps a glass or two of Champagne Taittinger.
Catherine Vale Vineyard Semillon Vertical Tasting Experience the differences of five vintages with a dedicated Catherine Vale Semillon vertical tasting. Groups of four or more can also pre-order a seafood snack for $5 per person to accompany the tasting. Bookings for groups are required by Thursday each week. Over the last nine years, Catherine Vale has pioneered the Italian red grape varieties of Dolcetto and Barbera, and now offer their first vintage of Arneis – an Italian white variety dating back to the 15th century
